Indie Pop
Indie pop is melody first and polish second: bright hooks, guitar-led arrangements and honest, personal lyrics, made with an independent spirit. The DGG Productions indie pop catalogue leans into that spirit with a British accent, from Tom B-Lyve's blues-infused storytelling to Cartyr's Britpop-inspired Mancunian swagger.
Every song here is written and produced by Luke Carter, who records as Sammi Dae, and given its voice through vocal conversion. The songwriting is human; the AI artists are the voices that carry it. All indie pop tracks are available for sync licensing in film, TV, advertising and online content.

What is indie pop?
Indie pop (also written indie-pop or indiepop) is a style of pop built on strong melodies and a do-it-yourself attitude. It grew out of the British independent music scene of the late 1970s and 1980s and sits close to indie rock, but it is usually sweeter and more melodic, with less noise and more hook.
Today the term covers a wide range: jangling guitar pop, dreamy bedroom pop, folk-tinged songwriting and synth-led alt-pop. What ties it together is a focus on the song, a personal voice and a sound that feels handmade rather than overproduced.
Indie pop at DGG Productions
Tom B-Lyve is the roster's indie pop storyteller: streetwise heart, Southern charm and a story in every line, with a blues-infused edge that sets his pop apart from the crowd. Start with My Girlfriend (Unfiltered).
Cartyr brings Britpop-flavoured indie pop with Mancunian swagger and grit. His debut single, The Mancunian (Northside), is a Britpop-inspired anthem of Manchester pride, coming soon.
Zeeyah and Sammi Dae both carry indie pop into their wider sound, blending it with gritty soul, alt-pop and cinematic pop. If you like the guitars and hooks, the main pop page has the full cinematic and alt-pop side of the roster.
Indie pop for sync and playlists
Indie pop works hard on screen. Its warm, relatable sound suits coming-of-age drama, lifestyle advertising, travel and brand films, and the clear melodic hooks make it easy to cut to length. DGG Productions owns the catalogue, so licensing is direct, with stems and alternate versions available on request. See the sync licensing page, or email info@dggproductions.com with your brief.
Indie Pop FAQ
