Brian Lewis, also known as BRI3LEWIS, is a UK-based music producer and groove specialist. With an intuitive ear for harmony, tone and emotional resonance, he has co-produced, from 2012, some of the original songs that Luke Carter has since reimagined, quietly shaping some of the most genre-fluid, soul-anchored and sync-ready tracks emerging from the new AI-led music frontier.

He is a sonic architect of the original versions of the reimagined songs, helping lay the emotional and rhythmic foundation behind every new release. From funky house to indie soul, retro-pop to cinematic grooves, his fingerprint can be felt in every beat, bassline and breakdown.

The persona

Behind the sonic cohesion across the DGG catalogue is the creative partnership between Luke Carter (Sammi Dae) and Brian Lewis. Together they wrote and produced a number of original tracks from 2013, which Luke, from early 2025, has reimagined through the voices of genre-specific AI artists.

Brian's production process is hands-on, emotional and instinct-driven. Every groove, chord progression and texture in the original songs was crafted to serve the story, which Luke has reimagined into a new multi-genre soundboard, whether through the smoky retro-funk of Sacha Rome, the deep soul layers of Devyn Cross or the organic, slow-burn melancholy of Thea.

“Luke and I see technology as a new set of brushes, but the music is still painted by hand,” says Brian.
